Three practices. Three engagement shapes.

PluggedIn covers finance, technology, and strategy as three connected practices. Whatever the question — a finance system that's hit its ceiling, a technology stack that needs to scale, a transition that has to land — practitioner teams move across the offices when the work crosses functions.

HOW THIS WORKS

Why the work crosses functions, and why the firm is built that way.

Most professional services questions sit at the intersection of finance and technology. A finance transformation rarely stays purely a finance project. A technology rollout almost always has financial implications. A strategic shift demands changes to both.

We built PluggedIn around that reality. Three offices share talent, methodology, and senior practitioners — but each office holds the depth required for serious work in its domain. When an engagement starts in one office and discovers it needs another, the handoff happens inside the firm. No second vendor to onboard, no scope-of-work negotiations across firms, no orphaned context.

This is what “embedded advisory” looks like in practice. Finance, technology, and strategy as one operating system, mobilized for your business as the engagement requires.

ENGAGEMENT MODELS

Three ways we work.

Every engagement at PluggedIn fits into one of three shapes. The right shape depends on what the work needs — not on what's easiest to sell.

Project Engagement

Defined scope, defined timeline, defined outcome. Productized where the work is repeatable, custom where it isn't. Best when the work is bounded and the deliverable is clear.

Fractional Leadership

Embedded alongside your team for the long arc. Scaling our involvement up and down as the business needs. Best when senior expertise needs to be present on an ongoing cadence but not at full-time scale.

Full Engagement

Operational ownership of a function or initiative, with a service-level commitment and a clear handback plan. Best when the business needs full operational coverage of a function, often temporarily.

Most of our engagements settle into one shape, then evolve. A Project Engagement sometimes becomes a Fractional Leadership arrangement. A Fractional Leadership arrangement sometimes graduates into a Full Engagement. We adjust as the work tells us to.
